Tariq Multipurpose Industries was established in 1979 to manufacture industrial gases. Currently it produces carbon dioxide gas and dry ice. The company caters extensively to the domestic beverage and food industry.

Expansion into other products is expected soon, and the company is looking into joint ventures with multinational companies.
